Amaru Vasquez

Amaru Vasquez is currently the Vice President - Legal Counsel at Citi, a position held since 2024. Prior to this, they served as Legal Counsel - Strategic Equity at BNP Paribas from 2020 to 2023, where they specialized in structuring complex equity derivatives transactions and advising on various aspects of corporate and financial law. Amaru previously worked at BNP Paribas as Legal Counsel - Regulatory from 2016 to 2020, participating in advocacy efforts on regulatory matters and providing legal advice on major financial regulations. Their career began with a legal internship at Société Générale in 2016. Amaru holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Business and Economic Law from Université Nice Sophia Antipolis and a Master’s in Financial and Banking Law from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
