Amit Rai

Amit Rai is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the technology and finance sectors, currently serving as Managing Director at Citi since January 2001. Rai has held various leadership roles, including Director, where responsibilities included overseeing Markets Technology and eCommerce Strategy with a focus on CitiVelocity. Significant contributions also include the development of the CitiVelocity framework and the creation of a next-generation research distribution platform. Prior to Citi, Rai worked at Telcordia Technologies and Zensar Technologies as a Senior Program Analyst and Software Engineer, respectively. Rai holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) and a Master's degree in Management and Systems from New York University.
