Avi Dekel, FRM, is currently the Head of Operational Risk Management at Citibank Israel. Previously, they held positions such as the Head of Internal Audit at HSBC and Internal Audit Manager at Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank, where they specialized in financial risk management. Avi served as a teaching assistant for financial mathematics at Bar-Ilan University and Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. They hold a Master's Degree in Financial Mathematics and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Affairs, both awarded with honors. Currently, Avi is enrolled in the Quantitative Finance Program at the CQF Institute.
