Ben Cope currently serves as the Head of FX eTrading Tech and Head of FX Tech Engineering at Citi since November 2024. Prior to this, Ben held the position of Head of Electronic FX Algo Technology at Crédit Agricole CIB from September 2023 to October 2024. Ben's extensive experience at Credit Suisse from August 2012 to September 2023 includes roles such as Head of Electronic Macro Products Platform Engineering, Head of eFX Technology and eMacro Platform Distribution, and Senior Developer, focusing on low latency pricing and trading within eFX. Ben began a career in commodities and eFX electronic trading as a Technical Analyst, utilizing Java and C# development skills. Ben holds an MEng (Hons) degree in Computer Science from The University of Manchester, attained in 2012.
