Christopher O'Donovan is currently the VP of Sustainability and ESG at Citi, overseeing initiatives across the UK, Europe, and MEA since 2024. Previously, they held the position of Head of Strategy for energy response at HM Treasury from 2022 to 2024, and served as a Chartered Accountant at Crowe Clark Whitehill LLP from 2010 to 2013. Christopher also worked as a Senior Policy Advisor on Financial Services Trade and Investment, focusing on green finance, Islamic finance, and international markets. They provided advisory support to Mark Carney for COP26, leading key workstreams on Reporting and Mobilisation. Christopher continues their education at the University of Nottingham, pursuing a BSc, and is also working towards Level 1 with the CFA Institute and an ACA qualification from ICAEW.
