Daniel Mak is a senior audit executive with over 18 years of experience in financial services, currently serving as the Director and Head of Audit for Banking and Client across Japan, Asia North and Australia, and Asia South at Citi. Based in Hong Kong, Daniel leads multiple audit teams, focusing on strategic business assurance and fostering high-performing teams. Before Citi, they held managerial roles at KPMG Hong Kong, where they oversaw audits and regulatory advisory projects for multinational financial institutions. In addition to their professional commitments, Daniel is the Chairman of the Renaissance College Swim Club and actively mentors young entrepreneurs through SEED Foundation’s IdeaPOP! event. Daniel is pursuing a Master of Science in Economics and Finance at Newcastle University Business School.
