David Griffiths has held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Citi since December 2012, where responsibilities include overseeing Emerging Technologies and Strategic Partnerships. Previously, David served as Managing Director and Group Head of Engineering and Architecture, specifically within the Institutional Clients Group, focusing on technology strategy, AI enablement, and architecture. Prior roles include Global Head of Equity Derivatives, Delta One, and MAG Technology, where David managed initiatives related to equity derivative structuring, cloud strategy, and risk platform development, as well as serving as Global Head of Equity Derivatives Technology and SVP in Equity Risk Technology. Prior to Citi, David worked at Merrill Lynch in Equity Linked Technology. David holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from UCL.
