Declan Kane

Declan Kane is a seasoned executive in the financial services industry, currently serving as Managing Director for Europe Securities Services Operations at Citi since December 1997. In this role, Declan leads the EMEA Securities Services Operations, representing over 2,000 operations professionals. Previous positions at Citi include Ireland Country Operations Head and Global Head of Issuer Operations, with responsibilities encompassing client interaction, efficiency management, cost optimization, and talent development. Declan has also held director-level roles overseeing Global Custody Operations and Custody and Issuer Operations across multiple continents, managing significant expense bases and teams. Prior to Citi, Declan was a Fund Accounting Manager at Ulster Bank Investment Services. Declan holds a Master of Science in Global Services Management from University College Dublin and dual bachelor's degrees in Management, Finance and Financial Management Services from Trinity College Dublin and Management from Technological University Dublin.
