Derrick Mitra

Derrick Mitra is a UI Architect and Engineering Manager with extensive experience in UI development and project management. They began their career as a Junior Graphic Designer at CUMIS and later co-founded UpShoot Media Inc., where they served as Creative Director for 17 years, leading business development and creative direction. At ADESA, Derrick excelled as a Senior Designer and Creative Lead before taking on a UI Architect role at Citi, where they design and implement Micro Front-end architecture and establish UI strategies. Derrick has also taught project management at Sheridan College, sharing knowledge with students in the Interactive Multimedia program.
