Diego Gamboa Angulo

Diego Gamboa Angulo is a professional with extensive experience in external and internal audit, risk management, and business strategy advisory. Currently serving as Vice President of Business Risk and Control at Citi since 2025, Diego also founded and directs financial operations and innovation at Grupo IGS. Previously, Diego held various roles at Walmart, Deloitte, and Auxis, demonstrating a strong background in internal controls and audits. Diego earned both a Licenciatura and a Bachillerato in Contaduría Pública from the Universidad de Costa Rica.
