Ed Sankey

Ed Sankey is the Head of Equity Capital Markets for EMEA and APAC at Citi, a position held since 2025. Prior to this role, they served as the Global Head of ECM at HSBC from 2019 to 2025 and co-headed European ECM and was the Global Head of Equity Syndicate at Deutsche Bank from 2004 to 2019. Ed also gained experience in institutional equity sales and trading at Fleming Martin South Africa from 1996 to 2001 and worked in Equity Capital Markets at J.P. Morgan from 2001 to 2004.
