Ellen Costello

Ellen Costello is an Independent Director at Citigroup, Inc., where they serve on the audit, risk, and technology committees, as well as chairing the Citibank, NA board of directors. They have a history of over 30 years in the financial services industry, including serving as CEO of BMO Financial Corp and as the U.S. Country Head of BMO Financial Group until retirement in 2013. Costello also held various leadership positions within BMO Financial Group and has been an independent board member for organizations such as Diebold Nixdorf and DH Corporation. They obtained a BBA from St. Francis Xavier University and an MBA from Dalhousie University, where they were also awarded an Honorary Doctor of Laws.
