Eric Yao

Eric Yao is currently the SVP of Global Stress Testing & Model Governance at Citi, where they oversee critical governance processes. They previously held the position of Director in US Capital Management, Risk, Control & Model Governance at TD from 2015 to 2023, and have extensive experience in stress testing and risk analysis, having worked with firms such as GE Capital and AGF Management Limited. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Mathematics from McMaster University and a Master’s degree in Management Sciences and Quantitative Methods from the University of Waterloo. They began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, contributing to published research in health economics.
