Gary Yong

Gary Yong is currently the Vice President of SOC Insider Threat Cyber Operations at Citi, a position they have held since 2024, following their role as an Assistant Vice President within the same department. They have over four years of experience as a cyber incident responder at the National Cyber Incident Response Centre, Cyber Security Agency of Singapore, where they worked with various public and private organizations to combat cyber threats. Gary's earlier experience includes interning at DSO National Laboratories and SingCERT, where they contributed to various cybersecurity projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing digital security. They hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Information and Cyber Security from Nanyang Technological University and an Infocomm Security Management degree from Singapore Polytechnic.
