Guy Matthews

Guy Matthews is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corporate affairs and public relations. Currently serving as the Managing Director and Head of Public Affairs for Citi across the Middle East and Africa since April 2002, Guy has also held pivotal roles including Managing Director for Corporate Affairs in Australia and New Zealand since July 2015, and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer in Japan since January 2010. Additionally, Guy has completed a short-term assignment in China overseeing Corporate Affairs. Prior to Citi, Guy held leadership positions at Instinet Incorporated and Arthur Andersen Business Consulting. Guy holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Melbourne, earned between 1991 and 1994, and attended Ivanhoe Grammar School from 1985 to 1990.
