Ioannis Lagkas

Ioannis Lagkas is a seasoned quantitative analyst with extensive experience in the finance sector, currently serving as a Credit Algo Quant at Citi since August 2020, with a focus on various derivatives and commodities. Prior to this role, Ioannis worked as a Fixed Income Desk Strategist at Morgan Stanley, covering key areas such as the Securitized Products Group and Deleveraging and Lending Group. Ioannis also has academic experience, having served as a Summer Lecturer at UCLA Mathematics and holding multiple teaching and research positions at the University of California, Los Angeles from September 2012 to June 2018. Ioannis earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics from UCLA, completing the program in 2018.
