James Holder

James has overall responsibility for addressing the needs of Citi Private Capital Group’s clients.

Previously, James was Global Market Manager for Northern Europe, also overseeing the coverage of family office clients across EMEA.

Before joining the Private Bank from Barclays in 2005, James was founding partner and finance director of a digital television start-up venture. He originally trained as a chartered accountant within Coopers & Lybrand’s corporate finance practice. He joined has also worked in mergers & acquisitions transactions at Samuel Montagu, and subsequently for James Capel.

James graduated from Manchester University in 1992 with a bachelor’s in economics. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
