Jay Varkey is a Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager in Citi’s Public Sector Banking group, where they manage relationships with sovereign governments and other governmental entities. With extensive experience in banking and financial services, Jay has held various roles across Client Relationship Management, Regulatory and Financial Crime Compliance, and Operations, among others. Previously, Jay worked at Ernst & Young, HSBC, and Navigant. Academically, Jay is pursuing a Master of Laws from George Mason University and holds degrees in Law and an MBA in Finance. Additionally, Jay is a licensed Attorney in the District of Columbia and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
