Joan Chan is currently the APAC Head of Custody Tax Service at Citi, a position they have held since 2020. Previously, Joan served as Tax Director at both Morgan Stanley from 2013 to 2020 and Daiwa Capital Markets Hong Kong Limited from 2010 to 2013. They began their career as an Assistant Assessor at the Inland Revenue Department from 2004 to 2006, and worked as a Senior Tax Consultant at PwC from 2006 to 2010. Joan is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Professional Accountancy at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
