John D'Onofrio

John D'Onofrio is a retired Chief Technology Officer with an extensive career in information technology, commencing in 1976 at Bell Laboratories, where they developed software for electronic telephone switching systems. After joining Citigroup in 1985, John led the creation of several significant global digital product platforms and served in various leadership roles, including managing the redesign of the bank's core management and compliance platforms. Notably, John was appointed CTO of Citigroup in 2006, where their initiatives resulted in significant operational efficiencies and the introduction of advanced analytics solutions. With a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the City University of New York-College of Staten Island, John holds two patents and has left a lasting impact on the technology landscape at Citi and beyond.
