John LaVoie

John LaVoie is currently the Managing Director and Head of West Coast for the Financial Sponsors Group at Citi, a position held since 2025. Prior to this role, they served as a Managing Director in Financial Sponsor Coverage at Wells Fargo from 2022 to 2025 and held a series of executive positions including Managing Director at RBC Capital Markets from 2009 to 2022 and Executive Director at JPMorgan from 1998 to 2008. John began their career in finance at TCW in Private Client Services from 1994 to 1996 and briefly worked as a Summer Associate at The Chase Manhattan Bank in 1997. They hold an MBA from Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business and are pursuing a BA in Economics at Stanford University while also participating in a summer program at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
