Kimberly Barnes

Kimberly Barnes currently serves as the Head of Compliance Independent Assessment at Citi as of June 2024. Prior to this role, Kimberly spent over 16 years at JPMorgan Chase & Co., ultimately holding the position of Executive Director and Global Head of CB/CIB KYC Exam Management, where responsibilities included managing regulatory engagement and examinations across 47 jurisdictions. Kimberly also held various positions at JPMorgan Chase, focusing on business operations, compliance management, and AML advisory. Early career experience includes risk consulting at Crowe Horwath LLP and transaction monitoring at Crowe Chizek. Kimberly holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Additional education includes studies at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
