Laamia C. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk governance and financial supervision. Currently serving as the Head of Risk Governance for Australia and New Zealand at Citi since January 2017, Laamia previously held the role of Senior Prudential Supervisor (Banking) at APRA from January 2012 to January 2017, where responsibilities included overseeing risk management and governance for various banks. Laamia’s expertise also extends to international business strategy, demonstrated through a consultancy position at Shanghai Jahwa United Co., Ltd in 2014. Earlier career roles include financial assurance positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG Australia. Laamia holds an MBA from The University of Sydney Business School and a degree in Business from Harvard University.
