Mark Balascak has extensive experience in the financial services sector, particularly in foreign exchange and options trading. Beginning a career at Merrill Lynch as a VP in Complex FX Option Trading from March 1997 to July 2001, Mark advanced to hold a Director position in FX Sales and Option Strategy at Credit Agricole CIB from January 2012 to May 2013. Following that, Mark served as Director of FX Investor Structuring at Citi from March 2005 to September 2011, specializing in Value Added Services and Products for Investor FX Structuring and Vol Derivative Trading. Returning to Citi in December 2014, Mark took on the role of Senior Compliance Officer, focusing on managing Futures and OTC Commodities Market Surveillance and developing algorithm-driven behavioral surveillance models.
