Matthew Sutherland

Matthew Sutherland is currently the Vice President of Leveraged Finance Syndicate at Citi, a position held since 2019. Prior to this role, they served as Vice President of Global Capital Markets at BlackRock from 2015 to 2019 and held various positions at Barclays Investment Bank between 2012 and 2015, including Associate in Leveraged Finance and Associate in Loan Syndicate and Trade Asset Distribution. Matthew began their career as a Document Controller at SeaDragon Offshore and has a degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Southampton, which they completed in 2011. Additionally, they are pursuing the AMCT qualification through the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
