Md. Suruzzaman

Md. Suruzzaman is the Head of Branches and SBOO at Citibank, N.A. Bangladesh, with around 30 years of experience in the banking sector across three leading banks. They began their professional journey at American Express Bank, where they worked for 16 years in various operational roles. In 2005, they transitioned to BRAC Bank Limited as Manager of the Remittance Department, successfully establishing a vast infrastructure for remittance services. Since joining Citibank in 2006, Suruzzaman has held several positions, including Resident Vice President and Head of Domestic Account Services, and has actively contributed to process improvements and service delivery optimization. Suruzzaman earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Dhaka between 2004 and 2008.
