Michael Clarke has extensive experience in risk management and collateral management, holding key leadership positions at several major financial institutions. From 1993 to 2011, Michael served as Co-chair of the ISDA Collateral Committee, and later, from 2003 to 2005, held the role of Global Head of Collateral Management and Client Valuations at Deutsche Bank. Michael progressed to Managing Director roles at UBS Investment Bank (2005-2011) and Goldman Sachs (2011-2020), and is currently serving as Managing Director in Risk Management at Citi since August 2020. Michael's career began at JP Morgan, where various roles were undertaken from 1987 to 2000, in addition to a managerial position at Cygnifi Derivative Services between 2000 and 2002. Michael holds a degree in Materials Science from Imperial College London, obtained between 1984 and 1987.
