Michael Demarco

Michael DeMarco is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in documentation operations and data management within the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Director and Global Head of the Documentation Operations Unit at Citi since May 2022, Michael leads a centralized team focused on the efficient management of documentation referential data across ICG Business lines. Michael has held various senior leadership positions at Citi, including Senior Vice President, where responsibility included leading the North American Entity Data Management team, and Vice President, overseeing the identification and maintenance of legal entity reference data. Earlier experience includes managing critical account processes and workflows, demonstrating a strong capacity for team leadership and operational improvements. Michael began a career at M&T Bank as a Commercial Loan Clerk, where significant process enhancements were achieved in mortgage documentation workflows. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Canisius University.
