Michael Luo is a highly skilled finance professional with extensive experience in structured products and credit research. Currently serving as Director of Structured Product Desk Analytics at Citi since July 2023, Michael previously held the role of Head of CMBS Research and Director at BlackRock from April 2017 to June 2023, where responsibilities included loan underwriting, deal surveillance, and the development of various credit risk and pricing models. Michael also worked at Barclays as Vice President of Corporate and Mortgage Credit Research, and at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an Associate, leading quantitative modeling efforts. Michael holds a PhD in Statistics from Southern Methodist University, a Master's in Actuarial Science from Nankai University, and a Bachelor's in Applied Mathematics from Nanjing University.
