Michael Mungure

Michael Mungure is currently the VP and Treasury & Trade Solutions Head at Citi, where they focus on business strategy and product innovation in transaction banking. With over 15 years of leadership experience, Michael's roles have included managing teams in cash management and electronic banking. Previously, they served as Head of Transaction Banking at NMB Bank Plc and Head of Sales Transaction Banking at Standard Chartered Bank. In addition to their banking career, Michael is the Club President of the Rotary Club of Makongo Juu, actively contributing to the community. Michael holds a BSc in Engineering from the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia and has completed management programs at the Swedish Institute and Strathmore Business School.
