Michael Steinbach

Michael Steinbach is a senior executive currently serving as the Managing Director of Financial Crimes and Fraud Prevention at Citi, where they provide strategic leadership to address various financial crimes affecting the organization and its clients. Previously, they were a Managing Director at Citi, leading the Cyber Fraud Prevention team and developing innovative methods to combat cyber-enabled fraud. Steinbach also held prominent roles at the FBI, including Assistant Director of the Counterterrorism Division and Executive Assistant Director of the National Security Branch, overseeing significant national security initiatives. They began their career as a Naval Aviator in the US Navy from 1988 to 1995 and earned a degree from the Center for Homeland Defense and Security at the Naval Postgraduate School.
