Nerissa Pineiro-Vanegas

Nerissa Pineiro-Vanegas is currently serving as the SVP Operational Risk Senior Officer I at Citi, a position they have held since 2021. Previously, Nerissa worked as a VP Business Risk Officer and AVP Senior Internal Auditor at Citi, and as an Internal Auditor at The Bank of Tampa. With earlier experience as a Mortgage Broker at Cape Lending Group and various roles in audit and accounting, Nerissa brings a solid background in financial services and operational risk management. They hold an MBA in Accounting from Saint Leo University, alongside a B.S. in Finance from Florida Gulf Coast University and an A.A. in Business from Edison State Community College.
