Phil Provost

Phil Provost is a Director at Citi since July 2023, focusing on UK legal entity risk management. Previously, Phil served at HSBC from January 2005 to June 2023, holding multiple senior roles including Head of Risk Management for Wholesale & MSS in Europe, where responsibilities encompassed financial and non-financial risk management for European businesses. Phil also led initiatives in change oversight and governance for operational resilience, as well as operations in operational risk, and directed Europe Risk's IFRS9 and Brexit programs. Additionally, Phil managed regional stress testing and economic capital efforts, and contributed to pan-European risk initiatives and Basel II implementation through various front-line roles in financial planning and retail credit.
