Richard Liu

Richard Liu is a developer at Morgan Stanley with extensive experience in quantitative investment strategies, including Price Calculation and Publication, Portfolio Rebalance, Strategies Backtesting, and PnL Attribution. They previously worked at Citi as a Vice President in Warrant Market Making and were a developer in various roles at UBS, Barclays, and Nomura. Richard is also an enthusiast in machine learning, applying techniques to financial domains like portfolio optimization and price prediction. They won the Hackathon 2021 by using a machine learning approach to predict stock prices with a factor risk model. Richard is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at The University of Hong Kong.
