Robert Sockin is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in economic policy and analysis. Currently serving as a Director at Citi since June 2022, Robert previously held the position of Senior US Economist at SPX Capital from July 2018 to June 2022. Prior roles include Director of Economics at UBS, Policy Advisor at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and Senior Associate in Economics at Citi. Robert began a career in economic research as a Senior Research Associate at the Federal Reserve Board. Educationally, Robert earned a Master of Arts in Economics from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University.
