Ryan Rugg

Ryan Rugg is a highly experienced professional in the fields of digital assets and blockchain technology. Currently serving as the Global Head of Digital Assets TTS at Citi since August 2022, Ryan leads initiatives to streamline treasury, payment, and commerce management for global clients. Prior to this role, Ryan was the Head of Blockchain Services for America's at IBM, enhancing client solutions in digital ecosystems. During a tenure at R3, Ryan held several leadership positions, including Global Head of Industry and Global Head of Insurance, where significant advancements in distributed ledger technology were achieved. Ryan also has a strong background in finance, having worked at Morgan Stanley in various roles, including Executive Director, and serving in fixed income positions at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Lehman Brothers. Educationally, Ryan holds a degree from The George Washington University with dual concentrations in Finance and Management Information Systems.
