Shantanu Nagar possesses extensive experience in structured finance, particularly in ECA Finance and Trade Finance across the Asia Pacific region. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Citi from January 2022 to December 2024, Shantanu has a strong focus on deal origination, structuring, and execution, demonstrating expertise in Sustainable and ESG Finance while managing relationships with major Sovereign and Multinational Agencies globally. Previous roles include Vice President at Citi, where responsibilities involved origination and structuring of financing solutions, and Assistant Vice President, where Shantanu worked on ECA and Structured Trade deals across 15 markets. Notably, Shantanu represented India at the World Bank Youth Summit and has held positions in operations and project management at leading companies such as GENPACT and Tata Motors. Educated at Ashoka University and the National Institute of Technology Surat, Shantanu holds a Master’s Degree in Business and Liberal Arts and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering.
