Subbarao Chalavadi

Subbarao Chalavadi is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in cloud native solutions and digital banking. Currently serving as Managing Director and Global Head of Cloud Native Core Banking Integration and Data at Citi since September 2021, Subbarao also holds the title of LATAM Executive. Prior to this role, Subbarao was a Managing Director at MUFG, where leadership encompassed the Cloud Native Enterprise Integration and API platform. Previous positions include Managing Director for Digital Channels Technology at Bank of America and multiple roles at FIS, culminating in Technology Strategy Manager. Subbarao has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Manipal Institute of Technology.
