Tjen Sim

Tjen Sim possesses extensive experience in the banking and finance sectors, beginning with a role as Mortgage Sales Admin at Affin Bank Berhad in 2010. Subsequent internships at Ernst & Young focused on corporate finance, including M&A and transaction support. Tjen Sim later held various positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2016 to 2020, including roles as a Wholesale Credit Associate and a Vice President in Wholesale Credit CEEMEA, specializing in credit risk for financial institutions and emerging markets. At Bank of America in 2020, responsibilities included serving as VP in the Special Assets Group, focusing on credit risk, workout, and restructuring. Most recently, Tjen Sim took on the role of FIG Corporate Banking VP at Citi in January 2023. Tjen Sim graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Warwick in 2013, achieving 1st Class Honours, and completed the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) at Sri KDU Secondary School.
