Zhining Chen

Regulatory Risk Analyst

Zhining Chen has a strong background in financial engineering and regulatory risk analysis, having obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the City University of Hong Kong and a Master of Engineering in Financial Engineering from Cornell University. Experience includes an internship at Citi in 2015, where Zhining implemented test cases and conducted User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for a system used in CCAR reporting. Currently serving as a Regulatory Risk Analyst at Citi since 2016, responsibilities involve conducting UAT for wholesale credit models, validating methodologies for fair value estimation, and supporting the implementation of stress testing approaches. Prior experience also includes an internship at PwC, where audit work focused on internal controls and compliance for Commerzbank AG’s Beijing branch.
