Osura Jayasundara

Osura Jayasundara is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in power quality and protection planning. Currently serving as a Customer Planning & Power Quality Engineer at CitiPower and Powercor since August 2024, prior roles include Protection and Control Planning Engineer at SA Power Networks, where responsibilities encompassed the design and review of protection settings and schemes for distribution networks, performing coordination studies, and providing technical assistance for high voltage operations. Previous experience also includes serving as an Electrical Engineer at Lucid Consulting Australia, delivering engineering design solutions for electrical services and managing Building Information Modelling projects. Osura holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Adelaide and participated in a Cyber Security Summer School at TalTech, focusing on digital forensics technology and law.
