Jimmy Mahtani

Jimmy Mahtani is a Managing Director with Baring Private Equity. He has been with Baring Private Equity since 2006 and has led investments in IT services, financial services, infrastructure, education, and consumer goods companies. Previously, Mr. Mahtani has served as Vice-President at General Atlantic Partners (GAP). During his tenure at GAP, he was responsible for investments in technology and financial services sectors. Prior to that he has worked for Bear Stearns & Co. Inc. in New York and Merrill Lynch in Washington D.C.

Mr. Mahtani graduated with honors from Georgetown University, where he received a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with a triple major in finance, international business and marketing.
