Mindy Finn has extensive experience in the field of political media and advocacy. Mindy is currently the CEO of Citizen Data, where they utilize AI and behavioral science to address societal issues and promote democracy. Prior to this role, they served as a Strategic Advisor at Protect Democracy and A More Perfect Union: The Jewish Partnership for Democracy.
In 2017, Finn co-founded Stand Up Republic, a nonprofit organization dedicated to defending democratic norms and principles. Mindy also co-founded Stand Up Ideas, which operated alongside Stand Up Republic until 2021.
Finn's earlier experience includes serving on the National Advisory Committee of Democracy Fund from 2016 to 2018. Mindy also founded Mischief Media, a political and public affairs firm that collaborated with various media companies and advocacy organizations.
Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Finn worked at Twitter as part of the Strategic Partnerships team from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they co-founded Engage, a political media company that assisted clients in navigating the evolving media landscape.
In 2007, Finn played a key role as the Director of Digital Strategy for Mitt Romney's presidential campaign, where they focused on leveraging the internet for messaging, fundraising, and mobilization efforts.
Mindy Finn completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism from Boston University, where they attended from 1998 to 2002. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Political Management from The George Washington University, graduating in 2007.
