Joost van Bommel

Joost van Bommel has a diverse work experience background, starting as a Sales & Advertising Manager at DIVIMOVE GmbH in 2014, followed by a Brand & Innovation internship at Lamb Weston/Meijer. Joost then worked at Schiphol, initially as a Management Trainee and later as a New Business Developer. Afterward, Joost co-founded Nextmedal in 2018 before transitioning to roles at citizenM hotels, including Product Manager, Product Owner for the Website and Subscriptions, and eventually as the Head of Membership Products.

Joost van Bommel completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics and Business Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2010 to 2013. Joost then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Marketing at the same university from 2014 to 2015. Prior to this, they studied Economics of Taxation at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2008 to 2010 after graduating with a VWO diploma in Economics and Society from Rotterdam’s Montessori Lyceum in 2007. Joost also obtained additional certifications including a 6-Week Growth Hacking Course from Growth Tribe in June 2018, a Certificate of Spanish level A2 from Coined International in April 2008, and a Certificate of Advanced English from the University of Cambridge in December 2007.
