Shawn Brown

Shawn Brown is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit and commercial real estate management. Currently serving as Vice President and Credit Products Manager for the Investment Commercial Real Estate group at Citizens since February 2016, Shawn oversees program support and structures new financing opportunities in accordance with compliance standards. Previously, Shawn was a Vice President and Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager, managing a diverse portfolio of loans within Business Banking. Prior roles include Assistant Vice President at Marlin Business Services Corp, where responsibilities included overseeing credit management for commercial leases, and Risk Manager at Canon Financial Services Inc., focusing on lease originations. Shawn began a career in finance as a Senior Credit Analyst at MBNA after serving in the United States Air Force as a Senior Airman in F-16 operations. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance from New York Institute of Technology, a BA in English from The University of New Mexico, and various leadership and credit analysis certifications.
