Stephen Nelson

Stephen Nelson currently serves as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for Litigation at Citizens, a position held since November 2025. Prior experience includes roles at Adler Pollock & Sheehan P.C. from April 2017 to November 2025, where Stephen held the titles of Counsel and Associate, and as an Associate at Duffy & Sweeney, LTD from July 2014 to April 2017. Earlier in the career, Stephen served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Francis X. Flaherty at the Rhode Island Supreme Court and gained experience through various clerkship roles, including at the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island. Stephen earned a Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in English from Tulane University.
