Garth Patterson has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. In 1985, they began their career in the Massachusetts National Guard, serving as Infantry/Artillery personnel until 1991. In 1989, they joined the U.S. House of Representatives as District Director/District Legislative Director/Legislative Assistant for Congressman Barney Frank, where they remained until 2012. During their time at the House of Representatives, they focused on fisheries-related legislative matters. In 2012, they joined Citizens for Citizens, Inc. as the Project Director (Fuel), and later became the Deputy Director in July 2020.
