Garth Patterson

Garth Patterson has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. In 1985, they began their career in the Massachusetts National Guard, serving as Infantry/Artillery personnel until 1991. In 1989, they joined the U.S. House of Representatives as District Director/District Legislative Director/Legislative Assistant for Congressman Barney Frank, where they remained until 2012. During their time at the House of Representatives, they focused on fisheries-related legislative matters. In 2012, they joined Citizens for Citizens, Inc. as the Project Director (Fuel), and later became the Deputy Director in July 2020.

Garth Patterson completed their Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 1991. Later on, they pursued further education at Bridgewater State University, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Education/Counseling.
