Sarah Austin

Sarah Austin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Sarah most recently served as the Human Resources Director at Citizens Medical Center starting in October 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Healthcare Coalition Preparedness Manager at SOUTHWEST TEXAS REGIONAL ADVISORY COUNCIL from January 2017 to October 2020. Additionally, Sarah has a strong background in retail management, having worked at Target as a Store Team Lead and Executive Team Lead from 2009 to 2016.

Sarah Austin earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Human Resource Management from the University of Houston-Victoria, which they attended from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communications from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, studying there from 2006 to 2008. Earlier in their education, from 2004 to 2006, Sarah attended Texas Tech University, focusing on Communication and Media Studies, though they did not attain a specific degree from that institution.
