Citizens of the World Charter Schools
Elyse Martin is an experienced educator with a strong background in elementary education. Since August 2015, Martin has served as a Lead Teacher at Citizens of the World Charter Schools, where responsibilities have included instructing fourth and fifth grades, participating in the Learning Leadership Team, and leading initiatives such as the Girls Club to promote positive female relationships and social-emotional learning. Prior to that, Martin taught fourth and fifth grades at Endeavor College Prep from 2013 to 2015 and founded a lunchtime Drama Club focused on literacy and the arts. Martin's educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree from the University of San Francisco, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University, Northridge, a Clear Teaching Credential from UCLA, and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration from Penn State University.
