James Masters

James Masters, CPCU, has extensive experience in claims management and litigation within the insurance industry. Currently serving as the Director of Claims Litigation at Citizens Property Insurance Corporation since July 2014, Masters previously held the position of Litigation Manager. Prior to that, a tenure as Senior Claims Supervisor at Vermont Mutual Insurance Company involved supervising a team of auto adjusters focused on complex bodily injury claims across multiple states. Additional experience includes roles as Claims Supervisor at National Grange Mutual Insurance Company and Worcester Insurance Company, and Senior Claims Adjuster at CIGNA. James Masters began a career in claims as a Senior Claim Representative at Aetna Life & Casualty. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Vermont.
